     Lydia married James Whitney, son of Henry Whitney and Elizabeth Olmsted, in Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut. James and Lydia had children: James, Thomas, Ezekiel & Mary. Lydia's husband, James, died before 5 September 1757 in Ridgefield leaving her a widow.
