     John was born circa 1629 at Leyden, South Holland, Netherlands. John married Hannah Leycraft on 1 January 1651 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.¹ John made his will in June 1702 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.

“to my loving wife Hannah Mayo my whole estate both real and personall during her widowhood toward her maintenance after debts & Legacys are paid onely my Housing & lands not to be sold but Nessesdsity when other estate is gone: and if nessessity Require for to sell ye Housing & Lands for my wives maintenance, then my will is that after my decease my son Thomas shall have that small parcel of Land which I bought of Thomas Cole. Furthermore If by the Providence of God my wife should marry again then my will is that she shall have a third part of my moveable estate as I then is & no more. Furthermore my will is that my Grandchild John Mayo that has lived along with me shall have one Cow and one horse that is now in his possession. Further my will is that my Grandchild Thankful Mayo shall have one heifer of two years old. Furthermore my will is that my Grandchild Mary Mayo ye daughter of my son Thomas Mayo shall have a wine cup that my father gave me.
Item I give my Grtandchild Sarah Mayo the daughter of my son Daniel one silver spoon. Futher my will is that the rest of my Grandchildren shall have twelve pence apiece by my Executors out of estate. Further my will is that after my wives decease or marriage what estate is left either Real of Personall shall be equally divided unto all my sons now living or to their children. Furthermore I do appoint my loving sife Hannah Mayo and my son Daniel Mayo for to be my true and lawful executors Joyntly to see after the true performance of this my last will as witmess my hand & seal day of June one thousand seven hundred and two.² John departed this life before 28 October 1706 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.³ The inventory of John's estate was taken on Thursday, 28 October 1706. It was valued at £64, 3 shillings, 8 pence. His will was probated on 4 November 1706.

     Hannah married John Mayo, son of Reverand John Mayo and Tamisen Brike, on 1 January 1651 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.¹ Hannah's husband, John, died before 28 October 1706 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts,, leaving her a widow.²

     Tamisen was born circa 1605 at England. She was the daughter of Mr. & Susan Brike. Tamisen married Reverand John Mayo, son of John Mayo and Katherine (?), on 21 March 1618 at the Dutch Reformed Church, Leyden, South Holland, Netherlands.¹ Tamisen's husband, an unknown person , died before 7 June 1676 in Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts,, leaving her a widow. Tamisen departed this life on Thursday, 26 February 1682 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.²

     Nathaniel was born circa 1627 at Leyden, South Holland, Netherlands. In 1643, He was first able to bear arms in Barnstable.¹ Nathaniel married Hannah Prence on 13 February 1650 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.^2,3 He made his will the 19th day of the 10th month 1661.

“to Nathaniell and Samuell a yeare old mare Colt being a Rid one that Came of the old Mare” …To Theophilus and my Daughter hannah the first two Coults that the young mares bring” …to my loving wife Hannah Mayo three mares three Cowes two three year old heifers two oxen two steers one bull two yeare old heifers two Calves and the land both upland and meadow Dureing her widowhood to bee solely att her Dispose and then afterwards one third to the eldest son; and the remainder to bee Disposed of amongst the Rest of the Children; further I give all my household goods to bee att my wives Disposall; my desire is that if it please god to blesse my wife and give her to enjoy life of that which she is now Reddy to bring Forth that shee bee mindfull to bestow something upon it as a token of my love and also my will is that my Children bee all brought up to write and Read”… “my loving Hannah Mayo to bee my sole exequitor; and my loving father Mr. Thomas Prence and my loving brothers John Freeman and Nathaniel Bacon to bee my overseers of this my last will" ...witnessed by Edward Bangs and Josias Cooke.^4,5

Nathaniel departed this life before 4 March 1662 at Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The inventory of Nathaniel's estate was taken on Saturday, 4 March 1662.⁶

     Elizabeth was born circa 1631 at Leyden, South Holland, Netherlands. Elizabeth married Joseph Howes circa 1653 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Elizabeth's husband, Joseph, died on 19 January 1695 in Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, at age 65 years, leaving her a widow.¹ Elizabeth departed this life on Wednesday, 16 March 1701 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.²

     Hannah was born circa 1621 at Leyden, South Holland, Netherlands. Hannah married Nathaniel Bacon on 4 December 1642 at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.¹ The family resided in Barnstable in a strongly built home that Nathaniel built.² Hannah's husband, Nathaniel, died before 29 October 1673 in Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts,, leaving her a widow.³ Hannah departed this life in August 1691 at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.⁴

     Nathaniel was born in 1613 at Stretton, Rutlandshire, England. He was the son of William Bacon of Stretton, Rutlandshire, England. Nathaniel married Hannah Mayo, daughter of Reverand John Mayo and Tamisen Brike, on 4 December 1642 at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.¹ Nathaniel departed this life before 29 October 1673 at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.² The inventory of Nathaniel's estate was taken on Sunday, 29 October 1673.²

     Samuel was born circa 1648 at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. On 3 February 1649/50, Samuel was christened at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. His mother had joined the church just two weeks prior. He had no children.¹

     Hannah was born before 20 October 1650 at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. On 20 October 1650, Hannah was christened at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.

     Elizabeth was born before 22 May 1653 at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. On 22 May 1653, Elizabeth was christened at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Elizabeth married Reverand Samuel Treat, son of Robert Treat and Jane Tapp, on 16 April 1674.¹ Elizabeth departed this life on Tuesday, 4 December 1696 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.

     Caleb was born in January 1650/51 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Caleb married Mary Williams, daughter of Thomas Williams and Elizabeth Tate, at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Caleb's wife, Mary, died after 1692 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts,, leaving him a widower. Caleb departed this life in 1728 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, at age 77 years.

     Catherine was born. She was daughter of Gabriel Wheldon of Yarmouth. Catherine married Giles Hopkins, son of Stephen Hopkins and Mary, on 9 October 1639 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.

     Ebenezer was born on Friday, 30 May 1698 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Ebenezer married Mercy Gorham on 2 July 1724 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Ebenezer departed this life on Sunday, 18 August 1771 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, at age 73 years, 2 months and 19 days.

     Seth was born on Friday, 8 September 1690 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Seth married Mercy Nickerson, daughter of Lieut. Thomas Nickerson and Mary Bangs, on 10 May 1760 at Chatham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Seth departed this life on Wednesday, 10 May 1769 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, at age 78 years, 8 months and 2 days.

     Elishua was born at England. Elishua married John Crowe, son of Adam Crowe and Susan (?), circa 1634 at England. Her name appears as member of the1635 first church Charlestown on the 4th day of the 11 month 1634. She immigrated about 1634, coming prior to her husband.

     Andrew married Experience Crowell, daughter of Jonathan Crowell II and Rhoda Nickerson, on 19 December 1793 at Argyle, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.

     Benjamin married Deborah Crowell, daughter of Jonathan Crowell II and Rhoda Nickerson, on 12 December 1796 at Argyle, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.

     Deborah married Jonathan Crowell, son of Jonathan Crowell II and Rhoda Nickerson, on 11 May 1800 at Nova Scotia, Canada.

     Elsie was born at Massachusetts. Elsie married Edward Crowell, son of Jonathan Crowell II and Rhoda Nickerson, on 29 April 1801 at Nova Scotia, Canada.

     Daniel married Desire Crowell, daughter of Jonathan Crowell II and Rhoda Nickerson, on 29 December 1801 at Argyle, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.

     Samuel married Rhoda Crowell, daughter of Jonathan Crowell II and Rhoda Nickerson, at Nova Scotia, Canada.

     Sarah married 2nd Thomas Nickerson, son of Lieut. Thomas Nickerson and Mary Bangs, on 5 July 1751. [marriage intentions] She was 1st married to John Crowell. It is assumed Sarah died before 26 December 1763 as her husband already remarried or remarried on this date.

     Bethia was born in July 1701. Bethia married Thomas Nickerson, son of Lieut. Thomas Nickerson and Mary Bangs, on 26 December 1763.

     Thomas was born on Monday, 31 August 1654 at New Haven Colony, Connecticut. Thomas married Sarah Wilmot on 27 November 1677 at New Haven Colony, Connecticut. Thomas departed this life on Sunday, 27 December 1711 at New Haven Colony, Connecticut, at age 57 years, 3 months and 27 days.
